Literary Analysis
In the book hell Hawks there were lots of characters. There are so many that it doesn't really have main characters, but characters that are more important than other ones, like the pilots that flew the P-47 Thunderbolt in to the battle. In Hell Hawks, the book is mainly composed of sequential short stories that make up the whole 351 pages of the book. With the help of the 365 fighter group helped to stop Hitter’s forces from marching on.
While reading the book if found a theme that keep on popping up. The theme was that to never give up. The pilots in the 365 fighter group saw that their friends got shot down, crashed, or even killed in battles. But the pilots never gave in. there was a point it the book were they were useless to the US Air Force, because they were just attacked by the Germans. Whit in the next few weeks they got new planes from the factories, and new pilots from training. They never stopped flying when they could. They were always in the air fighting the Germans back and causing heavy damage to the enemy.
